Day 1: For the zucchini sweet and sour, cut the zucchini in half, remove the seeds and cut into 3 mm thick pieces. Cut the onions into rings. Mix zucchini and onions, sprinkle with salt and leave covered.

Day 2: Rinse zucchini mixture well with water and drain. Bring syrup ingredients to a boil and pour over zucchini mixture. Cover and let stand.

Day 3: Drain zucchini, boil syrup again and pour over zucchini again. Cover and let stand.

Day 4: Bring everything to a boil, simmer for 2 minutes and pour hot into jars. The zucchini must be completely covered with liquid. If necessary, add a little more syrup. Serving tip: Especially suitable for all Asian dishes!
