For the Weinbeisser, boil sugar, honey, butter, water, lemon juice and vanilla sugar and let cool. Beat eggs and spices in a mixing bowl until very foamy and stir into the honey mixture.

Add flour, salt and baking soda to the mixture and knead well. Let rest in the refrigerator overnight.

Knead the dough again before further processing. Roll out to a rectangle about 4 mm thick and cut the dough into small oblong bars.

Place on a prepared baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 175 to 185 °C for 7 to 9 minutes until light brown.

For the glaze, mix all the ingredients well and dip the cooled wine bites in it and let them dry.
