Warm coconut oil slightly until it is liquid. Put bananas and pitted dates with the coconut oil in a blender and mix. When the dates are well chopped add the eggs.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and add the egg mixture. Add the chopped walnuts and mix everything into a cake batter.

Pour the dough into a greased, floured small cake pan (diameter 20 or 22 cm) and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes. Test with chopsticks!

Serve the cake lukewarm or with compote.
