Instructions:

For the walnut slices, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Fold in egg yolks, flour, baking powder and grated nuts.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the dough. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes.

Once cooled, cut the walnut slices into 2 parts, spread with currant jam and cover with chocolate icing.
