Melt the light butter, fold in the maple syrup by teaspoonfuls, add the vanilla sugar, flour and grated orange zest.
Grind 150 g walnuts and knead them in.
Cover the baking tray with parchment paper, form small balls and decorate with the remaining walnuts, then rest for 20 minutes.
Bake in a heated oven at about 210 °C for 12 min.
