Perhaps your new favorite bean dish:

Cut onions into narrow rings. Cut beans in half. Heat ghee or oil in a saucepan. Saute onions until al dente.

Add sambal oelek, garlic, shrimp paste, turmeric. Stir thoroughly with the onion.

Add coconut milk, salt, coriander powder and potatoes. Stir and simmer without lid for 5 minutes on low heat.

Add bell bell pepper, cabbage, beans and bamboo shoots. Cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until all vegetables are cooked. Depending on your mood, serve vegetables with long grain rice or together with a meat or chicken curry.
