Instructions:

Mix 2/3 of the coconut powder with water (1) and one third of the coconut powder with water (2) (1. & 2. “Santan”).

In a large baking bowl, mix carrots, potatoes, cabbage, garlic, onions, meat, egg, flour and 1st herb mixture.

Use a tablespoon to form balls. Heat oil for frying. Fry the balls until golden brown. Drain well.

Remove oil from wok or frying pan. Leave about 4 tablespoons. Roast the 2nd herb mixture and curry mixture until a red oil film appears on the paste. Pour in the 2nd santan in a leisurely manner and let it bubble up.

Reduce temperature and carefully pour in the vegetable balls. Bubble gently for 5- 8 min.

Now add the 1st santan leisurely, the lime juice as well as the salt. Allow everything to bubble gently, stir carefully.

Bring to the table hot. Long grain rice goes well with it.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
