For the vegan potato gratin, peel and slice the potatoes. Peel the shallots and garlic as well and chop finely.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil and fry the shallots until translucent. Add the potato slices and pour in the oat milk and Joya Finesse. Season with salt, pepper and spices and let the potatoes simmer for a quarter of an hour.

Pour the potatoes into a buttered dish and spread the juices evenly over them. Sprinkle the vegan cheese substitute on top. Bake the potato gratin in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until the vegan potato gratin has a nice color.
