Instructions:

For the vanilla pudding with strawberry sauce, bring 400 ml of milk to a boil in a saucepan, scrape out the vanilla pod, add the pulp and pod to the milk.

Mix the remaining milk with vanilla sugar, sugar, the two egg yolks and cornstarch until smooth and slowly pour in, stirring constantly, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the vanilla pod and pour the complete mixture into 4 small, cold-rinsed pudding molds (capacity 150 g) and let cool completely.

Meanwhile, sort strawberries, wash, pat dry, pluck, chop and puree with orange juice and powdered sugar (to taste).

To serve, place a strawberry mirror in serving plates and turn vanilla pudding onto it, garnish with strawberry pieces and serve.
