Instructions:

For the Tyrolean asparagus quiche, first prepare the dough. Knead flour, butter, water, egg yolk and salt into a smooth dough, form into a ball and chill wrapped in foil for about 30 minutes.

Wash asparagus, peel and remove ends. Cook in salted water with a pinch of sugar for about 10 minutes. Drain.

HANDL TYROL Tyrolean bacon g.g.A. Cut bacon into strips or use bacon already cut into strips.

Wash herbs, dab dry and chop finely. Mix whipping cream, eggs and herbs and season well. Roll out the dough between cling film.

Grease pan, line bottom and sides with dough. Prick several times with a fork.

Spread asparagus and HANDL TYROL Tyrolean ham cubes on top, pour egg mixture over.

Bake the Tyrolean asparagus quiche in the preheated oven on the second rack from the bottom at 200 °C for approx. 40 minutes.
