Instructions:

Sauté the onions in butter until soft. Cut the leek, carrots and add with the lentils. Fill up with clear soup. Cook for about 20 minutes (rather longer). Melt butter and season with cayenne pepper or chili if you like. On each unit of soup a little bit of the seasoned butter form.

Tip: Do you know purple carrots? They are an old, very aromatic variety – why not use them for a change!
