A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Meanwhile, make the pumpkin, peeled and freed from the seeds, in salted water for 15 min. Next to it, beat the whole eggs with sugar. Add the pumpkin (drained and strained) to the other ingredients. Butter an ovenproof dish, pour in the mixture and cook over a moderate heat for about 1 hour. Serve lukewarm or possibly cooled.

Add 150 g of grapes (previously soaked in rum) or 5 crushed amaretti.
