For the Topfenstollen knead all ingredients well together, form two stollen and bake in the oven at 170 °C for about 45 minutes until golden brown. Then brush with plenty of melted butter.

Sprinkle heavily with sugar. When it has cooled, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and let it sit for two or three weeks, then the Topfenstollen will taste perfect.
