Instructions:

Rinse strawberries, remove hulls, drain. Cut the fruit in half and sprinkle with sugar. Steep for 15 minutes with the lid closed.

For the cream, mix egg yolks with vanilla sugar, nutmeg, sugar and cognac until creamy. Whip the cream until stiff and stir in.

Fill strawberries into four glasses. Pour cream over them. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Scrape shavings of the chocolate over the portions with a kitchen knife. Garnish with flaked almonds.

When to offer:

Tip: Do you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Depending, use whichever you like better.
