For the steak in pumpkin seed spread, salt and pepper the minute steaks on both sides, sprinkle heavily with barbecue spice and place side by side in a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

Now peel the onion and chop it very finely. Heat the oil in a saucepan and roast the onion cubes in it until translucent. Now add the finished pumpkin seed spread to the pot and pour very little water.

Season the sauce with garlic, cumin, salt and soy sauce. Now roughly remove the outer skins from the 2 cloves of garlic by hand (if the very thin skins stay on, it doesn’t matter) and cut through the middle so that you can see a wide cut surface.

Pour the sauce over the raw meat, add the sliced garlic bundles to the sauce and let it roast for a good 30 minutes.
