Instructions:

For the steak casserole, first boil the potatoes with skin until they are soft. Let cool slightly, peel and cut into slices.

Salt and pepper the meat and fry it in a little lard until hot on both sides. Reduce heat and finish frying for 2-3 minutes on each side. Peel and halve the garlic clove and rub the cut surface on the steaks. Let rest wrapped in aluminum foil for about 20 minutes.

Mix whipping cream, egg and sour cream. Peel onion and cut into rings. Grate cheese. Preheat the grill function of the oven to 220 °C.

Grease a baking dish and line with potato slices. Place steaks, tomatoes and onions on top. Pour the sour cream-egg-whipped cream mixture on top and sprinkle with the cheese.

Put the steak casserole in the oven until the cheese has melted.
