For the spirals with Gorgonzola, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.

Peel and finely chop the onion.

Heat the butter in a small saucepan and sauté the onion pieces.

Remove the rind from the Gorgonzola and cut into small cubes.

Stir the whipping cream into the onions and let the Gorgonzola dissolve in it. Season with salt and pepper.

Strain the pasta, arrange on plates and pour the sauce over it.

Serve the spirals with gorgonzola sprinkled with sunflower seeds.
