Put the lentils in a colander form and rinse under running water. Mix 1 liter of warm water with the soup paste, put in a saucepan with the lentils and make half an hour on medium heat. Peel the shallots, cut them in half and slice lengthwise into strips. Peel the garlic and press it through a press. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the shallots and garlic until golden. Coarsely chop the spinach, add to the lentil soup form with the garlic, shallots and oil. Season with salt, pepper and cumin and make another 15 min.

If you like, you can also serve the soup with garlic croutons.
