A cake recipe for all foodies:

Knead together flour, sugar, butter and egg until smooth.

Cover and let cool for about 1/2 hour. Finely dice marzipan and coarsely chop almond kernels. Mix both with pistachios.

For the filling, separate eggs. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, curd cheese, orange juice and semolina and stir. Whip egg whites until stiff and fold into curd mixture.

Roll out the shortcrust pastry into a round shape and place in a greased cake springform pan (26 cm). Press a 1 cm high rim with your hand. Prick a few times with a fork and spread the marzipan mixture evenly on top.

Peel the oranges, cut them into slices and place them on edge. Pour in curd mixture and bake in heated oven at 200 °C for 1 to 1 and a quarter hours. Cover after 30-40 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving. Decorate with orange.
