For the spelt semolina dumplings, heat milk in a saucepan, stir in semolina, sugar and cinnamon and boil down over medium heat to a porridge. As soon as the porridge bubbles, remove from heat and pour into a bowl and let cool.

Wash cranberries or cranberries and bring to a boil in another pot with a little water and sugar or honey. Reduce to a compote over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Using two spoons dipped in cold water, make dumplings from the semolina and arrange them on two plates. Serve with the compote.
