For the spaghetti with tomato-garlic sauce, finely chop the onions and garlic and fry in a little oil until translucent.

Mix in the chopped tomatoes and the remaining ingredients. A grated zucchini can also be mixed in.

Bring the sauce to a boil and then simmer in an open pot over medium heat for 1 hour, stirring frequently. If the sauce is still too liquid, it may be strained. Season the sauce to taste.

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente and serve with the sauce.
