For spaetzle au gratin, cook the spaetzle and strain. Mix sour cream, eggs and cheese well and season with salt and nutmeg.

Mix the spaetzle with the sour cream mixture and place in a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake the spaetzle at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
