For the sour cherry strudel, lay out strudel sheets or pull out self-prepared strudel dough.

Fry breadcrumbs in oil. Pit the sour cherries. Spread the breadcrumbs on the strudel dough and add the pitted sour cherries on top. Then sugar the sour cherries and sprinkle with a little cinnamon.

Roll up the strudel dough and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with melted butter and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown.

Sprinkle the sour cherry strudel with powdered sugar before serving.
