Soak gelatin in cold water and wring out slightly, place in a small saucepan and allow to melt over low heat. Stir into the cherry juice. Strain the sour cherries. As soon as the juice begins to set, pour a little of it into each dessert glass, set, and evenly distribute the drained cherries on top of the cherry juice. Pour the remaining juice, which is beginning to set, over the top and set in the refrigerator.
