Instructions:

For the sloppy burger with chili fries, first preheat oven to 200 °C.

For the buns, knead all ingredients into a smooth dough (mixer or food processor). Cut into quarters and form into balls, cover and let rest for about 20 minutes. Brush with a little water and bake for 10 minutes.

For the chili fries, wash and halve the potatoes and cut into finger-thick wedges. Rub with olive oil, cornstarch and spices and bake at 200 °C for about 25 minutes.

Fry the meat in a hot pan without fat until the water has evaporated, then add the olive oil and fry until golden brown. Peel the garlic, chop finely and roast briefly.

Peel the onion and cut into fine rings, wash the lettuce leaves and pat dry. Fry the bacon in a pan without oil until crispy.

Cut tomatoes into thin slices. Cut the buns in half, hollow them out a bit and divide the minced meat in them, cover each with a slice of cheese and let it melt a bit. Stack with the remaining ingredients to form a burger. Serve sloppy burgers with chili fries.
