A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Crumble the yeast in a small baking bowl and mash it with 1/2 tsp sugar until it starts to become liquid. Then add a little bit of lukewarm milk diluted with water and enough flour to make a small loose dampfl, which is put in a draft-free place to rise.
In the meantime, prepare the crumble: Flour, butter or light butter, sugar and cinnamon are placed in a suitable bowl and loosely crumbled with the fingertips until they form small crumbles. They are then sprinkled on the dough and the cake, covered with a tea towel, is placed in a warm, free place to rise before being baked.
