Cut the bread, preferably stale, into fine slices and from them squares. Fry in a non-stick frying pan. Finely chop the peeled onion and the clove of garlic and sauté with a little oil until soft. Add the sausage from the skin to the onions and let it melt at low temperature, stirring continuously. Pour the clear soup, add salt, pepper and marjoram if necessary and simmer on low heat for 10 min. Chop the chives. Spread the bread slices evenly in the plate, pour the soup over them and sprinkle with chives.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
