Instructions:

Real rose water is the wonderfully fragrant by-product of the distillation of florets a process by which the rose oil or possibly ‘attar’ is extracted.

Place rose petals and water in a tightly sealed saucepan or possibly cover a saucepan tightly with foil. Bring water to a leisurely boil, reduce temperature and simmer gently for 120 minutes.

Remove from heat and infuse for two days. Heat water with petals one more time, gently simmer for another hour, then cool.

Strain all together through a nylon sieve and squeeze flowers in the sieve to keep the most intense extract. Fold in styrax and benzoet tincture. Fill into bottles, close and label.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
