Instructions:

Spread bread with butter, place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Steam vegetables in butter until just tender, perhaps add a little water, season. Spread vegetables evenly on bread slices.

Sprinkle bacon cubes on top, place cheese on top.

Bake in the middle of the oven heated to 220 degrees for ten to twelve minutes, season.

Tips If toast is to be made into a sandwich to take home, use only half the topping. Steam vegetables, cool. Top one slice of bread with vegetables, cheese and raw bacon slices instead of bacon cubes and cover with the other slice.

Cook toast with carrots only.
