Roasted Turkey Leg

Instructions:

Rinse and dry turkey leg and rub with salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Brush with softened fat. Add onion quarters, apple slices and a 1/4 l of water to the meat in a roaster form. Put in the stove, switch to 200 °C and roast for one hour 15 min. Brush the meat with honey and roast for another half hour. Take out the leg and keep it warm. Boil meat juice with one eighth of a liter of water and pass through a sieve. Add crème fraîche and make five min. Season the sauce with salt and cayenne pepper and serve with the meat.

Serve with boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
