The pumpkin is thinly peeled and cut lengthwise. The seeds are removed with a spoon. Cut the pumpkin into finger-thick slices and salt a little. In an ovenproof dish, heat the fat and put the pumpkin slices, then cover the dish and stew until soft. Mix the egg yolks with the sour cream, salt it and pour it on the cooked pumpkin. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Before serving the pumpkin is baked in the oven for 10 minutes.
