For the rice-fruit casserole, cook the rice with a pinch of salt. Peel apples and cut into thin slices.

Grease the casserole dish well with butter. Fill half of the rice into the casserole dish, lightly pressing it in. Then sprinkle the apple slices with a little lemon juice. Sprinkle some butter flakes and a little sugar on top.

Cover a new layer with the remaining rice and again sprinkle some sugar and butter flakes on top.

Bake the rice-fruit casserole for 30-45 minutes at 190°C until crispy.
