A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Mix the flour and sugar, add the butter and quickly knead everything together with the eggs. Leave to rest for half an hour.

Peel the quinces and boil them in water until soft. Then cut the fruit into quarters, remove the seeds and mix them in the sugar boiled with the water. Add the almond kernels and the raisins. If necessary, add a little sugar.

Spread the slightly cooled mixture on the baking tray lined with dough, cover with strips of dough as you like and brush with egg yolk. Bake for 40 min at 200 °C.
