For the quick poppy seed buns, roll out the puff pastry. Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl.

Add enough hot milk to make a creamy mixture. Let the poppy seed filling cool a bit and then spread it evenly on the puff pastry.

Roll up and then cut down slices with a sharp knife. Place the snails on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 20 minutes.
