For quick cheese spaetzle, cook the spaetzle according to package instructions, drain and layer alternately with the cheese in a gratin dish (set some cheese aside).

Mix the packaged onion soup with pepper, whipped cream, water and marjoram and pour over the spaetzle.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
