Instructions:

Peel and finely dice the onion and also finely dice the parsnip.

Heat oil in a large saucepan and slowly fry the diced onion and parsnip cubes over medium heat.

Cut the pumpkin in half, remove the seeds and divide into pieces. Make sure to remove the flesh, which is not firm, around the seeds.

Add pumpkin pieces and finely chopped garlic to the vegetables in the pan, fill with soup. Add salt and pepper and season with paprika powder.

Simmer for about 20 minutes and then puree.

Arrange the soup and serve.
