Dough:

Beat sugar, shortening, baking powder, salt and flour in a food processor fitted with a blade attachment until a crumbly dough forms. Lightly beat the egg in a cup (measure or measuring cup), add the vinegar and fill the cup with cold water. Add to the dough and stir until a ball of dough is formed. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest. Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds (roast later), remove the fibrous flesh, cut the firm flesh into small pieces and cook in an ovenproof dish in the stove at 180 °C for 25 minutes. Then grind the meat. Then mix 2 cups of the puree with the other ingredients. Spread a pie dish with the dough and pre-bake it for 10 minutes at 180 to 190 °C. Put the filling on top and bake for 25 min. at 170 °C. Serving Tip:

Decorate a plate with roasted pumpkin seeds, bring the pie to the table still warm with vanilla or whipped cream ice cream.
