For the pretzel sticks, make a yeast dough from flour, yeast, sugar, salt, 630 ml lukewarm water and oil. Leave to rest for 30 minutes, in the meantime bring 1.5 l water to the boil, then add baking soda to the water.

Form sticks or pretzels out of the dough and put them one after the other for about 20 seconds into the low boiling water, take them out and put them on a baking tray covered with baking paper, sprinkle them with salt and bake them for about 25 minutes at 175 degrees.
