Instructions:

First boil potatoes, let them cool down a bit and peel them.

Then press through the potato press.

Peel onion, chop finely, fry in butter until light yellow and pour over potatoes.

Mix sour cream, eggs, cheese, chopped parsley and spices. Add the potatoes and the smoked meat and mix again.

Spread the filling on the strudel sheets, leaving a strip at the top edge, brush it with melted butter and roll up the strudel.

Place the potato strudel on a greased baking tray, brush the surface with butter and bake the strudel at 190 °C for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
