Instructions:

Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks until creamy.

Mix milk, salt, flour and yolks.

Melt 4/5 of the butter, cool and fold into the egg mixture. Whip all the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold in. Grease the bottom of an ovenproof dish and pour in the batter. Bake in the oven heated to 220 °C (gas mark 4) on the bottom rack for 20-30 minutes.

Turn out hot and dust with powdered sugar.
