For the plums in puff pastry, defrost the puff pastry according to package instructions. Put the plums in a saucepan with the sugar, cinnamon and rum and sauté.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut out circles about 10 cm in diameter. Beat the egg and brush the pastry with it.

Preheat the oven. Spread the cooled plums on the circles and fold the pastry pieces into pockets.

Carefully seal the edges together. Now brush the outside of the pockets with egg as well and bake according to package directions until golden brown.

Serve the plums in puff pastry sprinkled with powdered sugar.
