For the plum crumble, cut the plums in half and remove the stone. Cut the flesh into small pieces. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

Place the plum pieces in a saucepan with the honey and orange juice, simmer gently for about 5 minutes and thicken with cornflour. Butter fireproof dishes and pour in the plum mixture.

Sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture. In a bowl, knead flour, sugar, pinch of salt, baking powder and cold butter into a crumbly dough by hand.

The dough can also be prepared very well and stored in the refrigerator. If there is any left over, just freeze it. Spread the dough over the plums until crumbly.

Place the dishes in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 15 minutes, then turn on the broiler for about 8 minutes (depending on the oven).

Serve the plum crumble still warm with whipped cream.
