For the plaice on grapes and bacon, salt and pepper the four fillets sufficiently on both sides. Then coat them in flour to prevent them from falling apart in the pan.

Cut the green seedless grapes in half and dice the bacon if necessary.

Heat butter or oil (depending on preference) in skillet and sear fillets on one side for about 3-5 minutes. Turn fish over and add grapes and bacon at the same time. Sear other side briefly as well.

This is a very simple recipe, but it offers an unusual but harmonious taste experience.

As a side dish, parsley potatoes or rice are suitable for the plaice on grapes and bacon. White wine or grape juice is recommended as a beverage.
