For the pilaf, cut the meat into 2 cm cubes. Heat the oil in a pot. First fry the meat in it vigorously, add the onion rings and fry them as well.

Pour soup over it, add salt, pepper and lemon zest and let everything simmer for about 1 hour. Then add the rice and tomatoes and simmer everything again for about 45 minutes.

Season the dish very hearty and serve hot.
