Instructions:

Heat the milk, add the yeast and mix. Stir in sugar and flour. Leave to rise in a warm place for about 10 minutes.

Add salt, egg, sugar, cardamom and a little flour. Knead in the remaining flour by hand. Add oil, knead by hand until dough separates from hands and baking bowl. If dough is too sticky, add more flour.

Form rolls from the dough and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise in a warm place with the lid closed.

Preheat the oven to 250 °C.

Beat the egg, brush the rolls with it and sprinkle with sugar and ground hazelnuts. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
