Instructions:

Dip the peaches briefly in boiling water, remove the peel and cut in half. Sprinkle with the juice of one lemon. Mix the egg yolks, sugar (liter), salt, vanilla sugar, milk, melted butter and lemon zest. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix everything together to form a dough. Add the flaked almonds (1). Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold into the dough.

Butter a baking dish. Fill in the dough. Put the peach halves in. Sprinkle with sugar (2) and cover with butter flakes. Spread the flaked almonds (2) evenly over the top.

Meanwhile, bake the casserole in the oven heated to 200 °C on the second rack from the bottom for thirty-five to forty minutes. Serve hot or lukewarm.
