Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

Make pasta al dente. Remove the skin from the onion and cut into cubes. Peel garlic and chop finely. Clean and rinse leek and cut into strips.

Cut ham into cubes. Sauté onions and garlic in two tablespoons of canola oil until soft. Add leek and ham and sauté. Fold in lentils and beef broth and make 5 to 8 min.

Fold mixture into pasta. Stir through remaining canola oil and vinegar. Season marinade with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix lentil, pasta and vegetable mixture with marinade. Divide evenly among plates and sprinkle with herbs.
