Pasta Casserole with Swiss Chard

Instructions:

2 spring onions, cut into slices.

For the cheese sauce, mix the sour cream or crème fraiche, the egg yolks, the cheese, the sherry and the soy sauce in a mixing bowl. Season with nutmeg and pepper, then stir everything together.

Rinse the chard, remove the skin from the stems, then cut the stems and leaves separately into strips.

Put the stems in boiling salted water form and after 5 min. add the leaves. do everything together for another 5 min. Now pour off the water.

Fry the bacon cubes, spring onions and onions in a frying pan.

Boil the pasta and layer the first half in a greased gratin dish. Now evenly spread half of the fried bacon cubes and onions on top.

Later, evenly distribute the chard in the gratin dish and mix in about 2/3 of the cheese sauce.

Add the remaining bacon, onions and noodles as the next layer and spread the grated cheese and the rest of the cheese sauce evenly over the casserole.

Season everything together with nutmeg, pepper and oregano.

The casserole goes for about 20-25 min in the oven preheated to 200 degrees on the middle rack.
