Instructions:

Remove the crusts from the white bread. Score at 1 cm intervals, making the first cut just before the lowest edge, and cut off the bread slice at the second cut. In this way you will get 6 connected double slices.

Cut the mozzarella into 6 slices. Place a slice of cheese in each loaf.

Fill half of the bread with 1-2 additional slices of ham. Rinse 6 anchovy fillets, dab with kitchen towel. Spread into the breads without ham.

Press filled breads tightly together and turn to the other side in the cow’s milk. Dust all around with the flour and place on a deep platter. In a plate, mix eggs vigorously, season with salt and season with pepper. Pour egg mixture over the breads, let sit 1500 cmin. through. Turn breads once to the other side.

Heat enough oil in a frying pan. Bake breads over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, drain properly on kitchen towel. Cut in half diagonally, offer 2 differently filled halves together and sprinkle with basil leaves.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will give your dish a wonderful touch!
