For the orange-vanilla egg liqueur, use a food processor or hand mixer to beat the confectioners’ sugar and egg yolks until foamy.

Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the pulp.

Grate the zest from the orange and squeeze it out.

Stir the orange zest and vanilla pulp into the egg-sugar mixture.

While stirring constantly, add the condensed milk, orange juice and brandy one by one in a thin stream. Chill in a bowl for 1 hour, skimming off the foam every 15 minutes.

Pour the orange-vanilla eggnog into one or more well-sealed bottles.
